Paralegal/Attorney - Medical Records Retrieval
Beacon Hill's client, a venture-backed start-up that handles medical records retrievals for large law firms specializing in mass torts and similar high-volume litigation matters, is rapidly growing. They're seeking a contractor (paralegal or attorney) to support medical records retrieval. This individual must be highly efficient, detail-oriented, and able to manage the process diligently. This role focuses on two key areas: (1) supporting medical records retrieval by helping quarterback the end-to-end medical records retrieval process and taking the lead on the execution of the retrieval, and (2) working with the head of the products team to help automate the process. The ideal candidate knows the medical records retrieval process inside and out. Above all, they are seeking someone with strong, hands-on experience who can step in and hit the ground running.
- Location: Remote (U.S.) - Bay Area candidates are welcome to work onsite at the San Francisco, CA 94104 office
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing, open-ended
- Hours: 20-40 hours per week (strong candidates seeking 40 hours are encouraged to apply)
- Concurrent employment: Permitted for part-time schedules
- Pay: $50-$60/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Strong, hands-on experience with medical records retrieval (must understand the process inside and out)
- Proven ability to independently manage and execute the end-to-end retrieval process
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and handle high-volume tasks
