Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Solutions Specialist with a strong technical background in cloud and DevOps practices, focused on the European market. This role bridges technical expertise with client engagement—guiding customers to understand how Matilda Cloud’s offerings solve their challenges. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and at least one additional European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish) with proven client-facing experience and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. Key Responsibilities: · Serve as the primary technical contact for European clients, communicating fluently in English and a second European language.
- Work alongside the sales team to gather customer requirements and devise effective technical strategies that address the specific needs of the European market.
- Partner with client IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues, remove roadblocks, and accelerate solution deployment.
· Engage with partners to provide comprehensive training and enablement on Matilda Cloud solutions.
- Collect customer feedback and relay insights to product and engineering teams to continuously improve offerings.
· Support developers in containerizing applications and migrating them to Kubernetes. · Automate recurring tasks in container-based workflows into reusable CI/CD assets. · Design, build, manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of container platforms with a focus on automation and infrastructure-as-code · Manage Hybrid cloud enterprise Kubernetes clusters · Ensure reliable WFH readiness with stable high-bandwidth internet. · Travel across Europe as needed for meetings and events. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline. · 5+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or technical sales engineering in European Market. · Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms. · Hands-on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud). · Expertise in Kubernetes, container platforms, and hybrid cloud operations. · Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Helm, CI/CD pipelines). · Strong scripting background (Bash, Korn shell, PowerShell). · Exceptional communication and client-facing experience. · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. · Availability for regional travel.
