Overview

The Part Time Production Artist is responsible for delivering high-quality image production and page layout execution aligned with established editorial, design, and brand standards. This role supports both print and digital outputs, managing high-resolution image manipulation, retouching, and color correction to ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple media channels. Type: Part time contract, remote, PST hours / PST time zone Schedule: Regular day hours, PST Duration: 5 months Pay: $32 - $36/hr, paid weekly Part Time Production Artist Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related field preferred
  • Strong Production Art portfolio
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a production art or similar role
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with high-resolution image editing, color correction, and file preparation for print and digital
  • Exposure to video color correction and color grading is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Professional, collaborative attitude with the ability to take direction and work independently

Part Time Production Artist Duties

  • Execute production-ready layouts and graphic assets in alignment with creative briefs and brand guidelines
  • Perform image retouching, color correction, and file optimization for cross-channel use
  • Prepare and release final files for both print production and digital distribution
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across typography, imagery, and layout specs
  • Manage revisions while maintaining version control and production timelines
  • Collaborate with design, editorial, and marketing teams to ensure seamless asset delivery
  • Maintain quality standards across all outputs while handling competing priorities and deadlines
