We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Documentation Medical Professional to join our team remotely, playing a pivotal role in optimizing medical record quality and ensuring accurate reimbursement.   • Conduct thorough concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, care teams, and coding staff to identify and address documentation gaps.
  • Facilitate accurate DRG and APR-DRG assignments, supporting proper reimbursement and reflection of care quality.
  • Provide expert guidance to improve clinical documentation standards across departments.
  • Leverage evidence-based practices, data analysis, and your clinical experience to recommend improvements that enhance documentation and compliance.
  • Build cooperative relationships with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical documentation review or related experience.
  • Background as a Medical School Graduate (foreign or domestic), Physician’s Assistant, or Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Strong knowledge of MS-DRG/APR-DRG systems and Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret medical records accurately and identify documentation deficiencies.

Nice to Have

Skills:

  • Experience with hospital EHR systems and health information management workflows.
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or related credentials.
  • Prior remote work experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Graduate degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant studies, or equivalent medical training.
  • At least three years of inpatient record review or clinical documentation improvement experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Availability for a regular full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection.
  • Willingness to undergo onboarding and training as needed.
  • Reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable expenses.

Compensation for this role is competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $53.60.
