Full Job Description The Python AI Programmer will be responsible for developing backend services, AI-assisted workflows, data processing scripts, integrations, and intelligent features that support the company's products and internal systems. This person will work with APIs, model outputs, structured data, business logic, automation tools, and databases to create reliable and scalable AI-enabled functionality. This is not only a coding role. It also requires strong judgment, testing discipline, and the ability to turn business needs into working technical solutions. Anticipated Duties
- Writing clean, reliable Python code for AI-driven applications and backend systems.
- Integrating with AI APIs, LLM services, machine learning tools, and automation workflows.
- Building scripts and services that process, transform, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Developing logic to support job matching, candidate evaluation, document parsing, scoring systems, classification, or recommendation features.
- Creating and maintaining API integrations with third-party platforms.
- Designing prompt workflows and structured output handling for AI systems.
- Testing AI outputs for consistency, accuracy, and edge cases.
- Debugging production issues and improving reliability.
- Working with databases, JSON, REST APIs, queues, and cloud-based services.
- Collaborating with product, design, and leadership teams to turn business goals into technical solutions.
- Documenting code, processes, and implementation decisions.
- Helping improve internal tools, automation, and operational efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of professional Python programming experience.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications, automation systems, data processing pipelines, or API-driven services.
- Strong understanding of Python frameworks, libraries, and development best practices.
- Experience working with LLM APIs, OpenAI-compatible APIs, Claude, Gemini, local models, or similar AI tools.
- Experience with JSON, REST APIs, SQL, cloud services, and backend development.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, structured outputs, embeddings, vector search, or classification systems.
- Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced company where priorities may evolve quickly.
- Experience with recruiting technology, job platforms, SaaS products, or AI assessment systems is a plus.
