This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Canada Role: Python developer with AWS Lambda US/Canada - Remote 3-5 Months Contract Client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Software Developer to join the Employee Applications team. As a Software Developer, we seek a self-motivated individual who excels in developing enterprise grand web applications and integrations. Hands-on expertise in AWS serverless services and DevOps practices. Specific responsibilities include –

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers) to design and implement new features and functionalities.
  • Design and develop front-end interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Leverage AWS serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) to build efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Champion DevOps best practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, architecture diagrams, and API documentation.
  • Support existing applications, reviews application architecture/design and identify opportunities to optimize (Performance, Security, Maintenance, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing applications in Python, Java.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing AWS serverless architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience in building applications using AWS Lambda
  • Experience with other AWS technologies like SAM, CloudFormation, SNS, S3 etc.
  • Strong expertise with designing and building REST APIs
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Experience with modern version control systems (Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, leadership, and driving capabilities.
  • Motivated, self-starter, independent, results oriented and professional.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow)
