Our publishing company has experienced significant growth in 2022 with the development of additional resources and broadening our retail partners, direct-to-consumer clients and international distribution.Job Overview:Do you have a passion to see Christ exalted through the written word? 316 Publishing has multiple ongoing projects across Christian Living, Bible Studies and other Church related categories. We're looking for experienced professionals who can refine and reshape our authors’ manuscripts with the shared goal of seeing Christ glorified through the pages of each book.We're looking for:Proven experience as a freelance editor of Christian non-fiction books. Please include your resume and a minimum of 3 books you have edited (this does not mean proofreading). List the title, author and designate which of the following types of editorial work was done on each book:Developmental Editing / Line Editing / Copyediting / General editing.Strong command of style guides and advanced knowledge of grammar.Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with authors and our in-house team.A personally held belief in the doctrine of Inerrancy of Scripture.To Apply:Please send your resume, a cover letter detailing your experience, a list of a minimum of 3 books you have edited, church affiliation and your rates to [email protected] .
