What You’ll Do Serve as a subject matter expert in Commodities trading environments Support front-office trading workflows and operational processes across commodities businesses Partner closely with trading desks and stakeholders to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders and key stakeholders Clearly articulate scope, assumptions, dependencies, and functional requirements Analyze the impact of upstream and downstream systems on business processes and workflows Support process mapping, workflow analysis, and functional documentation initiatives Collaborate with technology teams to identify and drive system enhancements supporting commodities trading activities Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly Support solution deployment activities and ensure successful adoption by business users Participate in project planning, delivery coordination, and production readiness activities Conduct data analysis to provide insights supporting trading operations and risk management activities Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize business processes and operational outcomes Support reporting, reconciliation, and operational analysis initiatives Partner closely with traders and stakeholders to support seamless operations and regulatory compliance Manage change requests and support structured change management processes Facilitate communication between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle Participate in testing activities including test planning, test case execution, and defect coordination Collaborate closely with business users during UAT to ensure solutions meet business requirements Support quality assurance efforts to ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables What You Bring Proven experience within Commodities trading environments Strong understanding of banking and Capital Markets products and services related to Commodities Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and manage business requirements Experience supporting trading workflows, operational processes, and system enhancements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, traders, and cross-functional stakeholders Experience with Openlink Endur is a strong asset Experience supporting testing, QA, and UAT activities is preferred Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality deliverables Self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments Nice to have Experience working within front-office trading environments Exposure to complex trading system integrations and data flows Prior experience supporting UAT within Capital Markets or Commodities platforms Experience working within enterprise trading technology transformation initiatives English level Upper-Intermediate Legal & Hiring Information

Compensation

Transparency: The expected compensation range for this role is $100k-130k CAD annual, with eligibility for commission, bonus, or other incentive compensation where applicable. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location within Canada, and business needs.
