The Role The Pantheon Developer Experience Team is looking for a Software Engineer, focused on improving the core software that our customers use to deploy code and interact with our platform. In this role, you will enhance Pantheon’s ability to integrate with Github, Gitlab and other external VCS providers, ensuring our platform delivers top-tier performance, stability, and user experience for developers and content creators. You’ll work on building new services and maintaining existing ones that keep Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development. You will work on a wide variety of technologies, including Go, node, Python, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Run. What You Need to Succeed Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack. Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward. Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable. Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation. Ability to work well with cross-functional teams. What You Bring to the Table 3-5 years of experience working with complex distributed systems. Familiarity with Go or Python Demonstrated capability to work with diverse technical stacks. RESTful and Graphql APIs, databases and revision control systems. Experience with Kubernetes on GCP or AWS is preferred. Experience with Next.js, Drupal and/or WordPress nice to have

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
