Backend Software Engineer (US Shift)

Job summary: We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our growing international team and contribute to building scalable, high-quality applications that power our compliance and digital solutions. The role requires working in US shift (3 PM – 12 AM IST) and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems while supporting a collaborative, engineering-driven culture. The selected candidate will play a key role in improving application performance, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to the overall success of our global products. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development & Engineering Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications Implement technical product requirements and enhance existing systems Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of applications Contribute throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Problem Solving & System Optimization Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues Monitor system performance and implement improvements Ensure timely tracking and resolution of development challenges Collaboration & Team Contribution Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and operations Support team members and collaborate to deliver high-quality products Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Technology & Infrastructure Build and manage services using client-server architectures Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Ensure seamless integration with databases and APIs Skills & Qualifications: Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, PHP, Node.js, or similar. Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems Knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Exposure to AI/LLM tools across SDLC is a plus Qualification: Engineering degree in Information technology, Computer Science or equivalent. 5 – 10 years of relevant experience as a backend developer.
