Nurse Practitioner (NP) Location: Remote (Licensed in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, NY, VA, DC, MD, MI, AZ) Employment Type: Part-time, Contract (1099) Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour (based on experience and licensure) About LunaJoy LunaJoy is dedicated to supporting women through their wellness journeys, particularly around reproductive, maternal, and postpartum health. Position Summary LunaJoy is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women across various stages of life. This role focuses on conducting health assessments, managing common medical concerns, supporting reproductive and postpartum wellness, and collaborating with behavioral health providers to ensure integrated care. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's health, comfortable working in a telehealth environment, and committed to delivering holistic, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions within the NP scope of practice. Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education. Support patients through reproductive, pregnancy-related, and postpartum health concerns as appropriate. Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Facilitate referrals to specialists and community resources when appropriate. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, WHNP, AGNP, or equivalent) in good standing. Licensed to practice in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, NY, VA, DC, MD, MI, AZ. Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in women's health, primary care, family medicine, reproductive health, or telehealth. Experience caring for women during the reproductive, pregnancy, and postpartum stages preferred. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary remote care team. Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive, and patient-centered care. Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms preferred.
