What You Will Be Doing: Argue contested hearings, temporary orders hearings, and family law trials. Lead mediations and adversarial settlement negotiations. Conduct depositions and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony. Develop litigation strategies and take over matters when negotiations fail. Review and revise motions, pleadings, and responses prepared by the drafting/paralegal team. Guide clients through court appearances with a trauma-informed and client-centered approach. Serve as the lead courtroom advocate while leveraging internal support teams for drafting, intake, and trial preparation. Collaborate with dedicated paralegals responsible for exhibit binders, trial notebooks, and hearing preparation. Experience You Will Need: Active Texas Bar license or documented reciprocity process underway. Minimum 3+ years of family law litigation experience; OR 5+ years of civil litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in transitioning into family law. Strong courtroom experience handling contested hearings, motions, mediations, and/or trials. Experience taking depositions and preparing witnesses. Ability to manage emotionally sensitive matters with professionalism and emotional intelligence. Strong advocacy, negotiation, and litigation strategy skills. Excellent communication skills and confidence in high-conflict situations. Compensation and benefits:
