ANALYST (CYBER, HUMINT/CI, OSINT)

Analyst Position We are seeking a skilled and proactive Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing counterintelligence (CI), human intelligence (HUMINT), and open-source intelligence (OSINT). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with all levels of Blue Obsidian Solutions to create an in-depth understanding of data sets and information. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide meaningful analytics to the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, execute, and clearly communicate key analyses that highlight significant trends and opportunities across the business.
  • Regularly attend meetings with managers to assess challenges and identify opportunities for implementing improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Deliver timely, insightful financial and business analytics to support decision-making by partners and stakeholders.
  • Create actionable roadmaps for streamlining workflows and processes, and define and organize KPIs in alignment with global objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all national and local regulations.
  • Analyze data using analytics, research methods, and statistical techniques.
  • Develop and implement data analyses, utilizing collection systems and strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare, analyze, and summarize operational results for key stakeholders, creating reports, specifications, instructions, and flowcharts.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of analytics projects, from gathering and manipulating data to designing and executing project requirements.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators, deliver regular reports, and recommend updates to the business plan.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of reliability practices, system designs, and incident reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate current processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Duty ExperienceEssential:

  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately
  • Ability to write reports
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • At least 5 years working in virtual counterintelligence (CI) operations and supporting federal defensive cybersecurity operations AND/OR
  • At least 5 years of familiarity with virtual social media platforms in support of national mission objectives and goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, international relations, political science, mathematics, business management, or economics; or the equivalent

Preferred:

  • Ability to present findings in a polished way
  • Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics (using SPSS, SAS, Excel)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with an innovative approach to business planning
  • Knowledge of DoD CI/HUMINT policies and structure.
  • Familiarity with emerging intelligence technologies and their applications in CI/HUMINT.
  • DoD cybersecurity coursework and certifications demonstrating comfort with databases, technologies, and methods of support to virtual operations.

Security Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance at time of hire

Education/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, international relations, political science, mathematics, business management, or economics; or the equivalent

Travel:

  • Ability to travel as needed, estimate less than 25%
