MultiMedRx LLC operates a telehealth Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides administrative, marketing, and management support to physicians and small to midsize practices. The organization focuses on standardizing services and expanding access to resources that many independent practices may not have in-house. MultiMedRx LLC works closely with clinicians to understand their needs, practice scope, and cost structures before implementing solutions. As healthcare moves toward value-based care, the company helps practices acquire new patients, improve patient engagement, and streamline virtual care operations. Role Description This is a part-time, remote Telehealth Doctor role focused on delivering high-quality virtual care to patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting scheduled and on-demand telemedicine consultations, obtaining patient histories, performing remote assessments, and developing evidence-based treatment plans within the clinician’s licensed scope of practice. The Telehealth Doctor will document encounters accurately in the electronic medical record, e-prescribe when appropriate, order diagnostic tests or referrals, and provide clear follow-up instructions to patients. The role also involves coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, supporting continuity of care, and adhering to all clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and privacy standards. The clinician will collaborate with the MultiMedRx team to optimize workflows, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support patient engagement in a fully virtual environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in applicable state(s), in good standing, with no current sanctions or disciplinary actions.
- Board certification or board eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, or related field).
- Demonstrated experience in outpatient clinical care; prior telehealth or virtual care experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), e-prescribing platforms, and secure telemedicine software, with strong basic technology skills.
- Excellent clinical judgment, evidence-based decision-making, and strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
- Clear, empathetic, and professional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust via video and telephone.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage a virtual schedule and documentation efficiently.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and all applicable telehealth regulations.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Access to a private, professional workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and compatible equipment for secure telehealth visits.
