Maverik, Inc. is a company that offers adventures beyond just jobs, and they are seeking a Logistics Payroll Administrator to support their transportation operation. The role involves ensuring accurate driver payroll, managing load information, and maintaining fleet documentation to support efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process driver payroll by established deadlines, including load entry, payroll adjustments, discrepancy research, and issue resolution
  • Audit transportation orders and load data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies that could impact payroll or invoicing
  • Partner with drivers, operations teams, and leadership to research and resolve data issues in a timely manner
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions through invoice processing, load summaries, documentation tracking, and reimbursement administration
  • Receive, organize, verify, and maintain transportation paperwork to ensure customer invoicing is accurate, complete, and audit-ready
  • Manage fleet-related administrative functions, including fuel cards, permits, registrations, licensing documentation, and employee uniform programs

Skills

  • 1+ year of payroll, accounting support, administrative, or related business experience
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while managing repetitive, high-volume work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally handle confidential information
  • A proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, identify issues proactively, and follow through on solutions

  • Transportation, logistics, dispatch, or fleet administration experience
  • Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable, billing, or invoicing in a high-volume environment
  • Familiarity with ERP, dispatch, or transportation management systems and experience handling confidential financial or employee data
