[Remote] Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CATCH Global Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on child health and wellness. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their health and wellness programs by building partnerships and securing funding opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new funding and partnership opportunities aligned with CATCH’s mission
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach (email, calls, networking)
- Conduct discovery conversations and align solutions to partner needs
- Move prospects toward partnership and funding commitments
- Manage and steward relationships with funders and collaborating partners
- Own and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities with clear follow-up and progress tracking
- Support proposal and partner materials development
- Monitor searchable databases for funding and service opportunities
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to align opportunities
- Contribute insights on prospective partners, international opportunities, market trends, and avenues for growth
- Maintain accurate and timely data in CRM and internal systems
- Participate in team meetings, strategic discussions, and initiatives as assigned
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in community partnerships, business development, nonprofit engagement, or early sales roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Socially versatile and comfortable initiating outreach
- Highly curious and adept at asking questions and discovering wishes and needs
- Naturally proactive and self-directed
- Attentive to detail and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet strict deadlines
- A quick learner who is high on optimism and grit
- Minimum 1–2 years in grant writing, fundraising, communications, public relations, or a research/writing heavy role
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field
- Experience presenting to groups, leading conversations, or representing an organization externally
- Experience working on deadlines, targets, or partnership pipelines
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and modern communication tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Slack)
- Experience working in a small or mid-sized nonprofit or similarly fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Background in youth-serving organizations, K–12 partnerships, public health, wellness, or education innovation
