Position Overview: As a Remote School Social Worker, youll provide direct support to students via secure teletherapy platforms, help schools address mental health and behavioral needs, and collaborate with educators and families to promote student success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct virtual individual and group counseling sessions Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs through evidence-based interventions Participate in IEP and 504 plan development as needed Conduct virtual assessments and create behavior intervention plans Collaborate with school teams, teachers, and families to ensure student success Maintain documentation and records in compliance with school, state, and federal regulations (FERPA/IDEA) Requirements: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW required) Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement Previous experience in a school setting preferred (in-person or remote) Strong knowledge of IEP/504 processes and mental health best practices in educational environments Comfortable using virtual tools, teletherapy platforms, and digital documentation systems Reliable internet and a private, professional home office space Must pass a background check and technology screening Why Work With Us?
