Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, resolve, and close tickets related to end‑user workstations, peripherals, and network connectivity.
  • Provide first‑line support for Helpdesk‑submitted incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Collaborate on global projects and redesign initiatives as an integral project team member.
  • Utilize remote tools to troubleshoot and remediate issues without on‑site presence.
  • Partner with regional offices to investigate and resolve infrastructure‑related problems.
  • Document client interactions in the ticketing system, maintaining accurate records of resources and resolutions.
  • Recover data from hard drives and perform data migration tasks as needed.
  • Maintain remote access for virtual private networks (VPN) and ensure secure broadband connectivity for workstations.
  • Install, configure, and support both local and network printers across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Associate or four‑year certification in software engineering, data systems, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven, hands‑on IT support experience handling workstation hardware and software issues.
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting Windows‑based workstations in a TCP/IP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating system and related service packs.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, remote support tools, and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks associated with hardware installation.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) – one or more.
  • Prior experience in an airline or airport IT environment.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Experience with data recovery tools and data migration processes.
