Position Overview

We're seeking an accomplished Business Analysis Manager to join our dynamic Global Reporting team at arenaflex. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by partnering with specialized unit finance teams to drive monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior stakeholders, including executive leadership. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving change, implementing efficiencies, and delivering powerful insights that inform critical business decisions across the organization.

In this vital leadership role, you'll be responsible for enhancing our consolidated operating margin analyses while mentoring and developing junior team members. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to set targets, develop strategic plans, conduct in-depth analyses, measure results, and continuously improve processes. Your expertise in financial storytelling, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder management will be crucial to your success and the success of our Global Reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative approaches to complex financial analysis challenges
  • Conduct comprehensive research including external benchmarking and utilize statistical tools and scenario analysis to inform sound financial business decisions
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to team members to achieve exceptional business results
  • Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to establish targets, deadlines, and develop strategic action plans
  • Direct analyses, measure performance, and continuously improve financial reporting processes
  • Present findings, recommendations, and growth opportunities to senior management with clarity and impact
  • Perform first-level review responsibilities to ensure data accuracy and analytical integrity
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and analytical capabilities
  • Drive improvements in consolidated operating margin analyses to identify cost optimization opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, planning, and business planning
  • Strong financial storytelling capabilities with proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse teams
  • Proven experience making recommendations to and influencing decision-makers at all levels
  • Project management experience with demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from conception to completion
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting software and business intelligence tools
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant field
  • Experience in the retail, hospitality, or food service industry
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or CFA
  • Experience managing remote teams or virtual work environments
  • Experience implementing financial systems and process improvements
  • Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and GAAP
