Role Overview

arenaflex is seeking a highly analytical, forward‑thinking Senior Business Analyst to join our Remote Business Insights team based in Boston, USA. In this role, you will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders—including product, marketing, operations, and finance—to translate complex data sets into actionable business strategies. You will own the end‑to‑end analytical lifecycle, from data extraction and model building to insight communication and implementation, ensuring that every decision is grounded in rigorous quantitative analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust analytical frameworks that support strategic initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Conduct deep‑dive market and competitive analyses to uncover growth opportunities, pricing dynamics, and emerging consumer trends.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and build scalable reporting solutions.
  • Lead the creation of predictive models (e.g., demand forecasting, churn prediction) using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise presentations for senior leadership, influencing roadmap decisions and resource allocation.
  • Partner with the Marketing Analytics group to optimize acquisition channels (Search, Display, Email, Video, Social) and improve ROI on advertising spend.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data pipelines, dashboards, and self‑service analytics tools to empower business partners.
  • Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and data‑driven storytelling.
  • Support the Operations team by analyzing supply chain efficiencies, inventory turnover, and fulfillment performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging analytics technologies, and regulatory changes that could impact arenaflex’s data strategy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a similar role within a fast‑growing e‑commerce or technology environment.
  • Proficiency with SQL (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent) and at least one programming language such as Python or R.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex data sets and to synthesize insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong consultative skills with a proven track record of influencing cross‑functional teams and senior executives.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, including experience building predictive models and conducting hypothesis‑driven testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable.
