Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Service Excellence

  • Demonstrate arenaflex’s service standards—proactive assistance, needs identification, and follow‑through until satisfaction.

Sales & Transaction Management

  • Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) registers accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining a balanced drawer.
  • Process voids, returns, exchanges, discounts, and special promotions in accordance with arenaxflex policies.
  • Maintain a tidy, well‑organized checkout area to enhance efficiency and safety.

Merchandising & Inventory Control

  • Keep aisles, shelves, and displays clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Receive, price, and stock merchandise according to established procedures, including FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) for perishable items.
  • Assist with product placement guidelines—e.g., raw meats on the back wall, frozen goods in designated freezers.
  • Support promotional setups, seasonal displays, and planogram compliance.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to state and local regulations for controlled items such as alcohol and tobacco.
  • Follow arenaflex’s loss‑prevention protocols to minimize shrinkage and protect assets.
  • Maintain awareness of store safety standards, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.

Specialty Services & Photo Center Support

  • Assist customers in the photo department with passport photo services, banner printing, and creative product selections.
  • Manage online order pickups, ensuring accurate fulfillment and timely communication with guests.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for photo equipment and guide customers through self‑service options.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, completing all required modules and certifications.
  • Share ideas for process enhancements, store layout improvements, and customer service innovations.
  • Support colleagues during peak periods, covering breaks and assisting with back‑room tasks as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (Spanish language skills are advantageous, especially in regions like Puerto Rico).
