Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Greet each customer warmly, assess their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance with products and services.
  • Transaction Processing: Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to register purchases, handle cash, issue change, process refunds, voids, discounts, and exchanges accurately.
  • Data Entry Excellence: Enter sales data, inventory updates, and promotional information into arenaflex’s retail management system with a focus on precision and timeliness.
  • Merchandising & Stock Management: Keep aisles, counters, and shelves clean and organized; receive shipments, verify deliveries, and stock shelves using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) methodology.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow state and local regulations for controlled items such as alcohol and tobacco; adhere to arenaflex’s loss‑prevention policies.
  • Promotional Execution: Set up and maintain displays for seasonal, holiday, and special promotions; ensure pricing and signage are accurate.
  • Photo Services Support: Assist customers in the photo department with digital photo uploads, printing, and creative product selections.
  • Online Order Management: Process in‑store pickup orders, locate items, and notify customers when their online purchases are ready.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment; share best practices for customer care.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions, complete required certifications, and stay updated on product knowledge and store procedures.
  • Additional Duties: Perform special projects, assist with inventory counts, and support store leadership as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
