FTE: 1.0, Shift: day, Schedule: M - F Position Summary The Workplace Accommodations Manager is responsible for managing the workplace accommodation (WPA) team and program. This role will create a streamlined program that ensures compliance with applicable laws in conjunction with other internal departments such as leaves, Workers’ compensation, ergonomics, and legal. ‘Further, the role will serve as the direct supervisor to the WPA team including oversight of their work, training and education, and compliance. Finally, the role will serve as the subject matter expert for the learning and development team and will participate in creating training and education for the organization. This role will manage high level cases, including escalations, through all phases of the interactive process in accordance with state and federal law and company policies. Essential Functions Supports end-to-end business process design, implementation, and improvement of standardized policies and processes for the Accommodations function to meet short- and long-term organizational goals. Manage a team of WPA professionals ensuring exceptional performance and employee services. Performs timely and comprehensive end-to-end case management by engaging in the interactive process with applicants and employees seeking reasonable accommodations and their managers. Coordinates with employees, managers, HP Partners, Legal Benefits, payroll, Workers’ Compensation, and Leave teams to process and resolve issues related to reasonable accommodations. Manages, communicates, and trains leaders and HP Team to develop competency and awareness around our legal obligations to provide accommodations. Facilitates reasonable accommodations trainings and deploy resources for leaders and HP team. Ensures compliance in maintaining information to track and ensure accurate and timely case management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Five (5) years of relevant work experience in any of the following areas: Employee Relations, Accommodations, Leave of Absence to include duties of interpreting and ensuring human resources regulatory compliance Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $116,272.00 - $167,336.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
