Role Overview

This is a full‑remote, entry‑level position open to candidates located in the United States. You will join a supportive team of educators, administrators, and technology specialists who rely on your meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The role blends routine data entry tasks with occasional administrative duties, providing a solid foundation for a career in education administration, data management, or nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Management: Maintain multiple databases, ensuring that records are accurate, up‑to‑date, and organized for easy retrieval.
  • Grant Data Entry: Input required grant information into the National Reporting System (NRS) with precision, meeting monthly, quarterly, and year‑end deadlines.
  • Attendance & Assessment Tracking: Record attendance and assessment data in compliance with institutional policies and state regulations.
  • FERPA Compliance: Safeguard student data by adhering to FERPA guidelines and internal security protocols.
  • Error Checking & Data Clean‑up: Conduct regular audits, identify inconsistencies, and perform corrective clean‑up to guarantee reliable reporting.
  • Timely Data Accessibility: Ensure that staff and external stakeholders can access needed information quickly and securely.
  • Task Prioritization: Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities to meet local, state, and program deadlines.
  • Student Outcome Monitoring: Assist in tracking student progress, including pre‑ and post‑testing results for state‑mandated assessments.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and cross‑functional projects.
  • Document Management: Scan, label, and file documents; maintain digital filing systems; and support mailing processes.
  • Supply Inventory: Conduct periodic inventory checks of office supplies and coordinate re‑ordering as needed.
  • General Office Support: Perform basic word processing, prepare mailings, and undertake other assignments that contribute to office efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Proficiency with standard office software, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, and basic data manipulation.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
