Position Overview

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the voice and first point of contact for customers seeking support across a variety of industries. Whether assisting with a travel booking, guiding someone through roadside assistance, or resolving tax-related inquiries, you will deliver top-tier service that leaves a lasting impression. This is a contract position with flexible scheduling options, including part-time and full-time opportunities. Shifts are available during days, evenings, nights, weekends, and select holidays, giving you the freedom to design a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

  • Position Type: Independent Contract
  • Work Schedule: Part-time or Full-time, flexible hours based on availability and time zone
  • Location: 100% Remote (Residents of Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin are not eligible at this time)
  • Industry Exposure: Travel, hospitality, tax services, reservations, roadside assistance, and more

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex customer support team, your day-to-day contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing all required training modules and certification courses to ensure service excellence and product expertise
  • Handling inbound customer interactions through phone calls, video calls, and live chat with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy
  • Resolving customer concerns on the first contact whenever possible, while escalating complex issues through proper channels
  • Maintaining a consistent minimum number of working hours per week to support team reliability and operational goals
  • Documenting customer interactions thoroughly and accurately in internal systems
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including quality, customer satisfaction scores, and average handle time
  • Demonstrating accountability, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset at all times
  • Staying current on product updates, process changes, and industry best practices

Essential Qualifications

arenaflex welcomes applicants from diverse professional and educational backgrounds. While prior customer service experience is a plus, it is not required. We are looking for motivated individuals with the right attitude and foundational skills. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States and currently reside within the U.S.
  • Possess a quiet, distraction-free workspace dedicated to professional work
  • Have access to a personal computer (Chromebooks, netbooks, tablets, and all-in-one devices are not supported)
  • Own a USB or analog headset with noise-cancelling capability
  • Have reliable wired high-speed internet with no wireless connections
  • Possess a smartphone capable of receiving SMS messages for system verification
  • Pass a standard background check, drug screening, technology assessment, and voice evaluation
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including strong spelling and grammar
  • Show solid typing, computer navigation, and multi-tasking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Although not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will stand out:

  • Prior customer service, call center, retail, hospitality, or related experience
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or remote work tools

  • Multilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, are a strong asset

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless remote experience, your home office setup must meet the following minimum specifications:

  • Processor: Dual-Core 2.8 GHz or better; Intel i5, i7, AMD Phenom, Ryzen, or equivalent
  • Hard Drive: At least 20 GB free of 60 GB total
  • Internet Speed: Minimum 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload, with latency of 120 ms or less
  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • Connection Type: Direct wired Ethernet from computer to router or modem (Wi-Fi is not permitted)

  • Starting Pay: Equivalent to your state's minimum wage for all hours worked under 40 hours per week
