QC Laboratory Technician

They are seeking a detail-oriented QC Laboratory Technician to ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials and finished products, collaborating closely with various teams to support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, traded products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
- Review and validate supplier Certificates of Analysis and issue CoAs for finished products
- Record, manage, and verify laboratory data in LIMS, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance
- Maintain statistical data for process monitoring and quality reporting
- Support investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results, including re-sampling, testing, and data collection
- Assist in root cause analysis and documentation of non-conforming materials
- Participate in product and process audits and provide analytical support for customer requirements and technical service activities
- Maintain laboratory operations, including equipment calibration, maintenance, method implementation, and sample/document control
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including optimization of testing methods and laboratory procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality teams to support production and quality objectives
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory standards, and safety requirements, and support internal/external audits
Skills
- Familiarity with analytical techniques and laboratory equipment
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of LIMS and quality systems is a plus
- Knowledge of physicochemical testing methods and laboratory techniques
- Ability to perform analysis and accurately interpret results
- Experience identifying and supporting investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) results
- Familiarity with laboratory method validation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Understanding of statistical tools for monitoring and controlling quality parameters
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data recording, analysis, and reporting
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred
- Technical diploma or equivalent laboratory training in chemical analysis or quality control may be considered with relevant experience
- 1–3 years of laboratory or quality control experience preferably in: lubricants, metalworking fluids, specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, industrial manufacturing environments
