Position Overview

This is a part-time position working 34 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday with flexible work hours between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM CST. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing meaningfully to arenaflex's mission of healthcare administrative excellence. As a Claims Intake Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient entry of insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers across the country.

Please note: if you are selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. A typing speed of 8,200 KSPH (keystrokes per hour) with a 98% accuracy rate is required for the position. This benchmark ensures our team consistently meets the high standards our clients expect.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Claims Intake Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex will be dynamic, engaging, and essential to our operations. Your primary duties will include:

  • Accurate Data Entry: Carefully and precisely enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring every keystroke reflects the highest level of accuracy.
  • Efficient Workflow Management: Process claims and authorizations expediently and efficiently to consistently meet client turnaround times and service level agreements.
  • Software Navigation: Navigate efficiently and effectively through arenaflex's proprietary imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, becoming a power user of our systems.
  • Claim Type Differentiation: Distinguish between various claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines established for each category, demonstrating strong analytical thinking.
  • Special Document Handling: Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling procedures, ensuring compliance with client-specific protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, fostering a supportive team environment.
