DevOps Engineer (USA Based, 100% Remote)
Overview
The DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in our organization by bridging the gap between development, testing, and operations. This position is vital for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our software development and delivery processes. Key responsibilities
- Design, Build, Integrate, and Deploy systems from start to finish
- Automate build and deployment pipelines through stages of deployment
- Maintain and operate production systems
- Engineer and design cloud based resources using infrastructure as code using industry best practices
- Work in a tight-knit engineering team to ensure consistency in understanding of data models, technical requirements, and engineering standards
- Utilize code reviews to demonstrate and learn technical best practices with the engineering team Required qualifications We are looking for teammates who share our vision and mission bringing US regulated, margined and cleared, physically settled bitcoin futures and options products to the world. Looking for experience in the following areas
- Running production systems in AWS
- Linux systems, ideally Ubuntu
- Large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications
- Configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Containerization tooling such as Docker
- Git/GitHub and branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, etc.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- SQL databases, ideally Postgres Bonus
- Container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Nomad, ECS, etc.
- Hashicorp products (Vault, Consul, Packer, Vagrant, etc.)
- Experience with any of the following futures and options matching systems, digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems, etc.
- Understanding of and interest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies Apply To This Job
