Role Overview
This is a full‑time, fully remote position based in the United States. You will join a dedicated team of finance professionals and report directly to the Credit Manager. Your primary mission is to maintain flawless data integrity across all customer accounts, support the payroll department, and assist with month‑end closing activities. The role offers a clear pathway for advancement into higher‑level finance, customer service, or operations positions within arenaxflex.
Key Responsibilities
- Process driver payments promptly upon receipt of notifications from the payroll department.
- Enter all necessary adjustments to keep customer balances accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Review printed edits to verify that payment batches balance, guaranteeing correct credits to customer accounts.
- Log, date, and file batches in the proper sequence to maintain an organized audit trail.
- Maintain a comprehensive and accurate electronic customer list, ensuring data consistency across systems.
- Update customer status changes, including charge‑to‑cash, cash‑to‑charge, address modifications, and minor corrections.
- Monitor the cash receipt log for accuracy and distribute receipts to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete all keying tasks within 24 hours of receiving source documents to meet service level agreements.
- Record the A/R Daily Proof Book totals from the transaction ledger and route collections appropriately.
- Execute month‑end data entry on the final working day before month close to confirm that all figures are entered and reconciled.
- Assist the Credit Manager with ad‑hoc projects, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data entry, preferably within a finance or accounting environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to type accurately at 60+ words per minute with a strong eye for detail.
- Experience handling confidential financial information and adhering to data‑security protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
