Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build ETL/ELT Pipelines: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and modern orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow (referred to as “Wind stream” in internal terminology).
• Data Modeling & Mapping: Create comprehensive data models, schema designs, and view definitions that support analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning workloads across DEV, QA/UAT, and Production environments.
• Cloud Platform Management: Deploy and optimize data workloads on AWS services (including S3, Redshift, and Athena) and Snowflake data warehouses, ensuring high availability and cost‑efficiency.
• Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Partner with product owners, data scientists, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications and data‑quality standards.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Leverage GitLab/GitHub for source control, implement automated testing, and manage containerized deployments with Docker.
• Data Lake & Warehouse Governance: Implement best practices for data lake organization, metadata management, and data‑catalog maintenance.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer or Information Designer, with at least 2 years focused on building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• SQL Expertise: 2+ years of advanced SQL development, query optimization, and stored‑procedure creation.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
