Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous, detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to join the arenaflex team. In this role, you will be the guardian of our corporate databases, responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining critical data that drives strategic decisions across the organization. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including finance, sales, and IT, to ensure that data is captured accurately, stored securely, and presented in a format that is both useful and compliant with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Input: Accurately enter customer, account, and transactional data from a variety of source documents—including paper forms, PDFs, and electronic files—into arenaflex’s central databases.
  • Prioritization & Organization: Assess incoming data streams, prioritize tasks based on business impact, and organize information to streamline the entry process.
  • Research & Verification: Conduct supplemental research when source documents lack required details, ensuring completeness before data is committed to the system.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous reviews of entered data to identify and correct deficiencies, typographical errors, or inconsistencies, maintaining a data accuracy rate of 99.9% or higher.
  • Process Optimization: Apply best‑practice data entry techniques, suggest workflow improvements, and adopt automation tools where appropriate to increase efficiency.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular status reports on data entry volumes, error rates, and backlog status; archive completed work in designated folders and perform routine backup operations.
  • Document Management: Scan, index, and store physical documents digitally, ensuring that original files are preserved and easily retrievable.
  • Support & Query Resolution: Respond promptly to internal queries regarding data status, provide access to relevant files, and assist teammates with data‑related challenges.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold arenaflex’s data integrity and security policies, safeguarding sensitive corporate information and adhering to confidentiality agreements.
  • Equipment Oversight: Monitor the proper use of office equipment (printers, scanners, shredders), report malfunctions, and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a data entry, office clerk, or similar administrative role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data‑management software or ERP systems.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥ 70 WPM) with a high degree of accuracy and an eye for detail.
  • Strong command of English spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data management, office administration, or related fields are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
