With a nationwide footprint and a growing digital presence, arenaflex continuously invests in technology, people, and processes to stay ahead of market trends. Our mission is to create an environment where every employee feels empowered to contribute, grow, and thrive while delivering exceptional value to our customers. As part of our expanding team, you will join a culture that celebrates accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of arenaflex’s decision‑making engine. From inventory tracking to customer insights, every piece of information must be entered, verified, and maintained with the highest level of precision. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be the guardian of that data, ensuring that our systems reflect reality and that our teams can rely on clean, trustworthy information to drive strategic initiatives. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, financial reporting, and the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Input: Enter and update a wide variety of data—including product details, pricing, vendor information, and transaction records—into arenaflex’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Data Validation & Error Correction: Perform meticulous reviews of entered data, identify inconsistencies, and correct errors promptly to maintain data integrity.
  • Periodic Data Audits: Conduct regular audits of databases and spreadsheets, generate audit reports, and recommend corrective actions to senior analysts.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Create, maintain, and optimize complex Excel workbooks, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations that support departmental reporting.
  • Independent Task Management: Prioritize daily workload, meet strict deadlines, and deliver high‑quality results without constant supervision.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, finance, marketing, and IT teams to gather required data, resolve discrepancies, and support project timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, propose automation solutions, and contribute to the development of best‑practice documentation.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear records of data entry activities, generate status reports for managers, and document any procedural changes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on data entry, administrative support, or similar roles, preferably within a retail or fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
  • Typing Proficiency: Demonstrated typing speed of at least 70 words per minute with a 99% accuracy rate.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of delivering error‑free work, even when handling large volumes of data.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including VLOOKUP, IF statements, conditional formatting, and macro basics).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create quick insights from raw data.
  • Basic knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries for data extraction.
  • Previous exposure to remote or hybrid work environments, demonstrating self‑discipline and reliable internet connectivity.
  • Certification in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or similar credentials.

Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and trends within large data sets.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to identifying root causes of data errors and implementing corrective measures.
  • Organizational Skills: Systematic handling of files, folders, and version control to ensure easy retrieval and auditability.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving processes, new software tools, and shifting business priorities.
  • Team Orientation: Collaborative spirit that values input from colleagues across departments and contributes to shared goals.
  • Ethical Standards: Commitment to confidentiality and data security, adhering to arenaflex’s privacy policies.

arenaflex invests heavily in employee development. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have access to a robust learning ecosystem that includes:

  • Structured Training Programs: Onboarding modules covering arenaflex’s systems, data governance policies, and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Skill Development: Monthly workshops on advanced Excel techniques, data analytics fundamentals, and emerging automation tools.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Pairing with senior analysts or data managers who provide guidance, feedback, and career advice.
  • Career Pathways: Clear progression routes to roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Specialist, or Operations Coordinator.
  • Certification Support: Financial assistance for relevant certifications (e.g., MOS, Certified Data Management Professional).
