Role Description We’re looking for self-motivated sales representatives across the United States to help expand HERD ATHLETICS into gyms, retailers, and fitness communities nationwide. If you’re deeply connected within your local gym or fitness scene, this is an opportunity to turn those relationships into income through a flexible, commission-based role with unlimited earning potential. You’ll work closely with the Founder and be part of HERD’s inaugural sales team, helping shape our outreach strategy and growth from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently while also collaborating within a small, fast-moving team environment. Prior sales experience is not required — but confidence, professionalism, grit, consistency, and strong follow-through are essential. What we're looking for

  • Passion for weightlifting, strength training, endurance training, or functional fitness
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable writing emails, making calls, and hopping on video meetings
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to stay organized and work independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment
  • Familiarity with the U.S. fitness landscape and local gym communities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with gyms, coaches, retailers, and fitness communities within your territory
  • Prospect wholesale opportunities through email, phone calls, social media, and in-person networking
  • Host client-facing calls via Google Meet when needed
  • Represent HERD at select fitness events and competitions when applicable (travel is limited but possible; examples include major competitions or HERD FEST)
  • Maintain and manage a lead pipeline while documenting outreach and activity through HubSpot
  • Share feedback from the field to help inform sales strategy, partnerships, and future product development

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with our tech stack: Google Workspace (G-Suite), Shopify, HubSpot, and Slack
  • Field sales experience, especially within retail or fitness
  • Background in supplements, fitness equipment, apparel, or sports-related sales
  • Experience working with quotas or performance goals
  • Bachelor’s Degree (not required, but considered a plus)
