About the Role

As a Remote Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will be a key member of our Customer Support Crew, the frontline heroes who bring our "Soul of Service" philosophy to life. Your mission is to assist and support inbound and outbound customer interactions across multiple channels, including phone, chat, SMS text, and email. You will resolve inquiries, fulfill requests, and address needs with efficiency, empathy, and professionalism. Upon successful completion of our comprehensive new-hire training program, you will be eligible to work from the comfort of your own home, joining a distributed team of like-minded professionals who take pride in delivering world-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Customer Engagement: Handle continuous inbound and outbound calls while simultaneously managing digital support channels including chat, SMS text, and email, ensuring every customer receives timely, accurate, and courteous assistance.
  • Reservation Management: Perform all assigned activities related to booking new reservations, modifying existing itineraries, and providing comprehensive support throughout the customer journey.
  • Sales Excellence: Proactively identify opportunities to sell flights and ancillary products and services, contributing to revenue growth while genuinely enhancing the customer's travel experience.
  • Problem Resolution: Effectively and efficiently resolve all customer inquiries, requests, and needs through creative problem-solving, sound judgment, and adherence to arenaflex standards.
  • Service Standards: Deliver exceptional service to every customer, every time, embodying the core values of "Soul of Service" through consistent standards of service, sales, and operational support.
  • Performance Accountability: Maintain KPI performance standards as defined by the Customer Support Center, including metrics related to response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction, and sales targets.
  • Concurrent Interaction Management: Navigate through complex processes while interacting with multiple customers simultaneously across different digital channels.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with system updates, policy changes, and product offerings to provide accurate information and high-quality service.
  • Adaptability: Perform other responsibilities as assigned, with duties subject to change based on operational needs, emergencies, workload fluctuations, rush initiatives, or technical developments.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service or sales experience, preferably in a call center or high-volume customer-facing environment.
  • Training Completion: Successful completion of arenaflex's new-hire training program is required before assuming full responsibilities.
  • Home Office Environment: Ability to provide a safe, professional, and distraction-free office work environment at home, free from background noise and interruptions.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive ten (10) year background check.
  • Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the potential need to respond on short notice.
  • Work Authorization: Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Internet Connectivity: Provide a high-speed internet connection that meets arenaflex's work-from-home technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous sales and call center experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems, customer support platforms, or travel industry tools is a plus.
  • Experience working remotely or in distributed team environments.

Technical Competencies

  • Technically proficient in working with CSC systems, programs, and tools including but not limited to Radixx Res, RadixxGo, ZenDesk, and MIS Choice DCS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, platforms, and software applications.

Functional Competencies

  • Ability to successfully find simple solutions to complex issues while meeting performance standards in a quickly evolving working environment.
  • Ability to answer continuous calls and digital messages (chat, SMS text, email, etc.) with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to navigate through complex processes while interacting with a customer in a clear, confident manner.
  • Ability to navigate through concurrent digital interactions with more than one customer at a time.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
