Key Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Benefits Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include a diverse range of member support activities designed to ensure every client interaction is handled with care, accuracy, and professionalism.

Member Communication and Relationship Building

  • Quickly build rapport and respond to Spanish-speaking customers in a compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive manner that exceeds expectations on every contact.
  • Consistently meet commitments by responding to members via phone, email, and instant message in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Customize your customer service approach to meet all types of member communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult or emotionally charged calls.

Information Management and Compliance

  • Handle confidential member information with the utmost sensitivity and discretion in full accordance with HIPAA regulations, Data Privacy laws, and arenaflex data security requirements.
  • Skillfully translate complex health, welfare, and pension terminology, as well as intricate plan information and processes, into simple explanations and clear instructions that customers can easily understand and act upon.
  • Read, interpret, and apply client plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to address immediate requests and anticipate the future needs of each member.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge, understanding, and compliance with arenaflex and client procedures, providing appropriate and accurate information at all times.

Documentation and Team Collaboration

  • Maintain and document complete and accurate call notes and case records in English, written in a professional manner that is free of slang, abbreviations, or emoji.
  • Regularly participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to continuously improve your skills and product knowledge.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors or managers to support the broader goals of the arenaflex team.

Essential Requirements and Qualifications
