Olympic Business Analyst

The Olympic Business Analyst role is to design, develop, and test key initiatives or projects identified by the business to improve efficiency, create new revenue opportunities and comply with regulatory requirements. This includes gathering, analyzing, and documenting processes and data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Olympic Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to identified issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of the new banking system. The role is remote with the possibility of travel to one of the three current jurisdictions (The Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Barbados). Main Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning Meet with internal subject matter experts, vendors and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals. Lead design sessions in prototyping new processes for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems to develop strategies for improving or further leveraging processes. Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions. Determine the business requirements and technical options for improving integration with other RF systems and third party services. Operational Management Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the RF Group. Review system design proposals for alignment with the RF Group objectives. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of related computing systems. Document and perform in-depth tests in Wrike, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems and processes. Assist in developing and updating internal procedures where necessary. Requirements/Qualifications: College diploma or university degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information Systems. Minimum of 3 years’ related work experience in field. Experience in overseeing the analysis, design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products. Proven practical knowledge of banking operations and requirements. Working knowledge of data protection principles and relevant laws such as GDPR. Practical knowledge in documenting and presenting business requirements using MS Word, MS Excel, graphs, flow charts and structure charts. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Jasper). Experience with ERI's Olympic Banking System, Penad's PX3000 Pension Administration solution, Wrike, Laserfiche document management and workflow solutions. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. A competitive compensation package will commensurate with relevant experience and qualification.
