Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Interaction

  • Model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience that aligns with arenaflex’s service standards.
  • Greet every guest warmly, maintain eye contact, and proactively offer assistance with products, services, and store navigation.
  • Resolve inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring each customer departs satisfied and confident in arenaflex’s commitment to service.
  • Share best‑practice techniques with teammates, reinforcing habits such as courteous greetings, attentive listening, and proactive problem‑solving.
  • Demonstrate arenaflex service traits—identifying needs, offering help before being asked, and following through until the guest is fully satisfied.

Point‑of‑Sale Operations

  • Operate assigned cash registers with speed, accuracy, and professionalism, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with arenaflex policies.
  • Recommend complementary items, trade‑up products, and promotional merchandise to enhance the average transaction value.
  • Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring all equipment is functional and supplies are stocked.

Merchandising & Inventory Management

  • Keep counters and shelves tidy, well‑merchandised, and fully stocked, adhering to visual standards set by arenaflex.
  • Perform inventory counts, price checks, and product uploads as directed by the shift leader or store manager.
  • Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and super‑structure arrangements to drive sales.
  • Apply first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) principles for perishable items, ensuring food safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist with the separation of raw and pre‑cooked foods, placing items on appropriate shelves per arenaflex policies.

Asset Protection & Compliance

  • Implement arenaflex asset protection procedures to identify and minimize potential profit loss.
  • Enforce state and local regulations concerning age‑restricted products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
  • Report suspicious activity and cooperate with loss‑prevention teams to safeguard store assets.

Specialized Services – Photo & Digital Solutions

  • Provide friendly assistance in the photo area, guiding guests through digital passport photo services, poster printing, and creative machine usage.
  • Suggest and upsell promotional photo products, enhancing the guest’s experience while meeting sales targets.
  • Manage web‑pick‑up orders via Picture Care Plus, accurately picking items, packaging them, and delivering them to waiting customers.

Store Maintenance & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly store environment—both interior and exterior—through routine cleaning and organization tasks.
  • Support teammates by sharing knowledge, covering shifts, and completing special assignments as needed.
  • Uphold arenaflex policies and procedures, fostering respectful, collaborative relationships with all coworkers.

Training & Personal Development

  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, completing Performance‑Based Learning (PBL) modules assigned by management.
  • Seek out opportunities for skill enhancement, cross‑training, and career advancement within arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years experience in a fast‑paced retail or service environment, preferably with cash handling responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate point‑of‑sale systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Basic math proficiency for cash handling, refunds, and inventory tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions associated with retail duties.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Experience with photo‑service equipment, digital printing, or similar technology.
