[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) is a metropolitan research university focused on expanding access to quality higher education. The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing relationships with prospective and existing students, conducting outreach, and guiding students through the enrollment process while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand stakeholder needs
- Present UA Little Rock programs and guide prospective students through the inquiry and enrollment process
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and track activities in a CRM or similar system
- Provide timely follow-up to ensure a high-quality experience
- Collaborate with academic, marketing, and admissions teams to align messaging and support recruitment campaigns
- Share feedback from the field to improve processes
- Monitor enrollment goals and prepare basic reports
- Continuously refine outreach approaches to achieve performance targets
Skills
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills, including the ability to nurture long-term partnerships and support diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in sales, recruitment, or customer success, with the ability to meet or exceed activity and conversion goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with phone outreach, virtual meetings, and professional email communication
- Proficiency with CRM or student information systems and basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, video conferencing platforms)
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to prioritize multiple accounts and follow-up tasks in a remote environment
- Analytical skills to interpret basic performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-informed recommendations
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, education, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience in higher education, enrollment management, or nonprofit outreach is preferred but not required
