[Remote] Solutions Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Emburse is dedicated to humanizing work through automation in expense management and accounts payable. They are seeking a Solutions Consultant I to provide technical expertise and collaborate with the Sales team to demonstrate how Emburse's solutions can enhance financial workflows for SMB and Velocity prospects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compelling, value-focused product demonstrations of the Emburse solution suite to prospective finance, AP, and travel executives
- Collaborate with regional Account Executives to understand prospect pain points and align our product capabilities with their business goals
- Own technical validation tasks, including responding to RFPs, filling out security questionnaires, and setting up trial environments
- Stay ahead of product updates, industry verticals, and competitive landscapes to remain a trusted advisor to internal teams and external prospects
- Assist at trade shows, user conferences, and internal sales meetings to champion the Emburse brand
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience within a B2B SaaS company—ideally in a customer-facing role like implementation, customer success, technical support, or inside sales
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with a natural ability to command a room (or a Zoom call) and translate technical jargon into business value
- A strong technical aptitude. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable discussing software architecture, integrations, and data security
- A positive, execution-focused attitude with the ability to manage multiple small-to-mid-sized deal cycles simultaneously
- You thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. Change doesn't rattle you; it motivates you
- You have an interest in—or exposure to—corporate finance, expense management, or accounts payable workflows
- You love getting under the hood of a new software tool and figuring out how to make it solve real-world problems
- You are comfortable working from a home office and willing to travel regionally (typically short 2–3 day trips) to support key sales opportunities when required
