[Remote] Sr. QA Engineer - IP Routing

The Sr. QA Engineer will lead the design, validation, and evolution of next-generation IP routing solutions, focusing on delivering scalable, high-quality networking solutions for service provider and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end validation and testing strategies for IP routing features, including SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN
- Lead development of test architecture, automation strategies, and quality engineering practices for large-scale routing platforms
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases using Python to expand test coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with development, product management, and system engineering teams to support feature delivery
- Define and execute test plans covering functional, scale, performance, and interoperability scenarios
- Mentor engineers to support technical development and consistency in engineering practices
- Influence product quality through design reviews, defect analysis, and risk identification
Skills
- Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in networking with a focus on IP routing and protocols
- Application of SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN technologies
- Experience developing automated test cases using Python within networking or distributed systems environments
- Application of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching
- Experience working with test automation frameworks and CI/CD practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and collaborate across teams
- Application of AI concepts and Copilot-assisted automation development
- Experience working with network virtualization and cloud-native networking environments
- Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms
- Exposure to telemetry, observability, and performance analytics tools
- Experience working with service provider or large-scale enterprise networks
- Familiarity with traffic generation tools and network benchmarking
- Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
