[Remote] Area Vice President, Business and Market Development – Mission Critical Infrastructure

The VP of Business and Market Development will architect LVT’s expansion in high-stakes environments, partnering with sales teams to close high-value deals and define the go-to-market strategy for mission-critical infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect Vertical Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive go-to-market framework specifically tailored to the unique compliance and security demands of Mission Critical Infrastructure
  • Drive Pipeline Excellence: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) overlay for the GTM team, providing the industry depth required to qualify opportunities and accelerate the sales cycle within the data center and critical construction sectors
  • Influence & Close: Partner directly with sales representatives on key accounts to deliver compelling, vertical-specific value propositions that drive revenue growth
  • Champion the Brand: Serve as the "Face of LVT" within the vertical, leveraging an elite network of contacts across Hyperscale owners and top-tier General Contracting firms
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to ensure our roadmap addresses the high-stakes operational, safety, and site-security needs of critical infrastructure projects
  • Market Intelligence: Rigorously monitor industry trends, competitive movements, and customer feedback to refine LVT’s competitive advantage in the mission-critical space
  • Field Leadership: Lead the charge in the field, with travel as needed, estimated ~15-30%, to engage stakeholders and oversee critical site deployments

Skills

  • Deep background in physical security and risk management
  • Sophisticated understanding of how physical security technology integrates into the lifecycle of mission-critical assets
  • Experience in defining go-to-market strategy for AI-driven intelligence
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the GTM team
  • Proven track record of influencing complex, high-six-figure enterprise deals
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex AI and hardware capabilities into clear ROI
  • Data-driven approach using market research and sales metrics
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and collaborate with sales reps
  • Agility and adaptability in high-growth environments
  • Results-oriented with a focus on KPIs and revenue targets
