As we continue expanding our online presence, we are seeking a dependable, creative, and proactive Video Editor & Marketing Assistant to support our content creation and marketing initiatives. Position Overview We are looking for a Remote Video Editor & Marketing Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and contributing ideas. The right candidate will have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the growth of the firm and work directly with leadership on marketing initiatives and content strategy. Responsibilities
- Edit both long-form and short-form video content
- Create content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms
- Develop engaging clips, highlights, and promotional videos from longer recordings
- Assist with content planning, organization, and distribution
- Organize and manage digital media files and assets
- Collaborate with leadership to improve content quality, engagement, and workflow efficiency
- Help maintain a consistent brand image across platforms
Required Qualifications
- Experience editing video content
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Computer capable of efficiently handling video editing workloads
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Understanding of audience retention strategies and video performance metrics
- Experience using hooks, attention-grabbing introductions, and engagement-focused editing techniques
- Marketing or social media experience
- Experience working with accounting, tax, bookkeeping, financial, or other professional services firms
- Basic graphic design experience
- Availability to work at least partially during Pacific Time business hours
