Job Description The salary range for this position is $59,000 to $65,000 Position Overview The Senior Program Associate will lead program coordination for Our Future Agenda, with a primary focus on day-to-day management support of the Unlock the Future Coalition. The Senior Program Associate will maintain the coalition’s cadence by coordinating calls, preparing meetings, and ensuring deliverables are met on time, while also assisting with high-level events and intergenerational dialogues. Responsibilities include preparing policy content and youth materials, maintaining trackers and documentation, and supporting basic monitoring and learning across a diverse, global partner set, with a particular focus on partners and opportunities across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. This is a permanent position based in the New York office. (Hybrid Schedule) Essential Functions Set and monitor the rhythm for coalition, steering, and working-group meetings across time zones Monitor calendars and shared channels Onboard and support members Co-create agendas, briefing packs, and materials, track deliverables and approvals across the coalition. Convene and align the Story Lab young advisors and support the coordination of the Funders Collective steering group Maintain work plans and approvals on course to ensure ideas flow from storytelling to production and delivery with clear timelines and owners Plan in-person, hybrid, and virtual events during key UN and global moments, including speaker outreach, creative components, and logistics, so outputs are concise, accessible, and youth-friendly Build and quality-check decks, one-pagers, decision memos, run sheets, and outcome notes using approved templates and brand guidelines Maintain a shared content calendar in coordination with the Our Future Agenda team. Track UN policy windows and public moments that matter to young people, especially across Africa, Asia, and Latin America Assist with travel, invoices, consultant paperwork, procurements, and sub-grant documentation through UNF systems; and support team planning cycles Selection Criteria Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in International Relations, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred At least 3 years of professional experience in coalition/partnership coordination, event production, program support, or communications in an international non-profit or policy environment Demonstrated experience organizing multi-stakeholder calls and meetings, preparing agendas/briefs, taking minutes, and driving follow-through to deadline. Proven ability to plan and execute complex events or convenings under tight timelines with multiple principals. Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident facilitating on Zoom/Teams; polished, concise drafting. Cross-cultural fluency and discretion; comfort engaging partners across regions, including youth-led organizations and counterparts in the Global South. Writing samples and a skill assessment are part of the interview process Proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, slideware (PowerPoint/Google Slides), spreadsheets, and a project tool (Asana/Trello/Notion); basic CRM/document hygiene. Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in coalition/partnership coordination, event production, program support, or communications in an international non-profit or policy environment
  • Demonstrated experience organizing multi-stakeholder calls and meetings, preparing agendas/briefs, taking minutes, and driving follow-through to deadline
  • Proven ability to plan and execute complex events or convenings under tight timelines with multiple principals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, slideware (PowerPoint/Google Slides), spreadsheets, and a project tool (Asana/Trello/Notion)
