We are currently hiring part-time Inbound Chat Specialists to support our growing network of automotive dealer clients.

Position Overview

We are hiring part-time Remote Inbound Chat Operators to join the arenaflex team. In this customer-facing role, you will engage in live online conversations with prospective car buyers and service customers on behalf of our automotive dealer clients. Your mission is simple yet impactful: deliver exceptional service, answer questions accurately, and convert those conversations into qualified leads and scheduled appointments that help our clients grow their business.

This is a remote opportunity, but you must currently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wisconsin. South Dakota residents are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries in real time via online chat, delivering prompt, friendly, and professional responses
  • Provide accurate and helpful information about dealership products, services, promotions, and inventory through live chat
  • Ask thoughtful qualifying questions to narrow down appointment details and successfully schedule service visits or sales appointments
  • Capture essential customer contact information for lead generation and client review purposes
  • Summarize each customer interaction clearly and concisely, documenting customer needs for client follow-up
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the evolving products, services, and offerings across our dealer clients
  • Represent each automotive dealer client in a positive, brand-aligned manner at all times
  • Multitask efficiently, managing multiple chat windows and tools simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Adapt quickly to changes in products, scripts, procedures, and client preferences in a fast-paced digital environment
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing feedback, insights, and suggestions for continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail customer service, sales, call center, or the automotive industry is preferred but not required
  • Basic internet proficiency and comfort navigating window-based computer systems
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining a conversational tone
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, as the role may occasionally involve voice or video interactions
  • Positive, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for helping people
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment; gaming experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to thrive in a remote work setting
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to embrace change and continuous learning
  • Must currently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wisconsin
  • Must own a personal computer or laptop equipped with a functioning webcam and microphone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in chat-based customer support, live engagement, or online sales
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, chat platforms, or lead generation tools
  • Background in automotive sales, service writing, or dealership operations
  • Experience working from home in a remote or hybrid capacity
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus but not required

Training and Schedule

All new hires at arenaflex will complete a comprehensive four-week paid, remote training program conducted via Zoom, held Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM EDT. Training is designed to set you up for success, covering chat platform navigation, automotive industry basics, client brand guidelines, conversation best practices, and lead conversion strategies. After training, you will transition into a regular part-time schedule of 25 to 39 hours per week, with flexibility across day, evening, and night shifts. You must be available to work five days per week, including either a Saturday or a Sunday.
