DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Engage in sales conversations with guests regarding groups, shore excursions, and onboard products, maintaining strong product knowledge and upselling group benefits. Resolve enquiries on first contact while meeting SLAs for calls and emails. Build rapport with travel partners and guests, taking full ownership of enquiries through completion. Review correspondence and complete all steps to finalize groups, including rooming lists, ticketing, authorizations, amenities, payments, and refunds. Manage displacements, inaugurals and other special‑handling requirements. Monitor group space, releasing unused inventory, and coordinating with Business Development as needed. Action Special Events and meeting‑space requests submitted via Salesforce within SLAs. Liaise closely with onboard teams to ensure the best outcomes for guests. Enter and maintain all programming in AffairWhere with full accuracy. Coordinate all group dining requests in line with SOPs and venue capacities. Review, approve and update all dining requests throughout the booking lifecycle. Maintain accurate programming and dining data in AffairWhere/Otalio for shipboard execution. Provide guidance based on strong venue understanding and suitability. Use Tableau and Enterprise Analytics to support inventory decisions, buyouts, and oversell prevention. Make decisions that support organizational interests, revenue generation, and minimal dilution. Demonstrate teamwork, integrity and respect, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 1 year of travel industry experience - ideally with experience in a customer service role. Effective interpersonal skills to engage at all levels within the organization and external guests. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with German as a preference as a second language. Ability to consistently deliver the level of customer service required to achieve a positive guest experience. Ability to remain focused in adverse situations, while effectively using diffusion skills to prevent escalation. Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver to tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Positive and enthusiastic approach with a dedicated and flexible attitude Self-motivated person with the ability to work independently and under pressure Must be solution-focused and able to use initiative to problem-solve Ability to work as part of a team IT Literate – Experience of Travel Reservation systems and MS Outlook, Word and Excel Solid understanding of all company policies and procedures to reserve and service new and existing reservations.
