File Build Technician
The File Build Technician is responsible for configuring terminal, gateway, and point-of-sale system setups based on requests received through Celero's ticketing system and email channels. This role ensures accurate, timely configurations while supporting merchant onboarding, operational excellence, and client success through attention to detail, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Using multiple systems as needed, build terminal files or complete Value Added Reseller (VAR) forms based on requests received via the ticketing system and/or emails. Ensure setups are completed accurately. Update tickets with proper status and details regarding the work completed. Develops knowledge of terminal, gateway and point of sale products and services offered by Celero. Collaborate with clients and team members to address required changes, resolve questions, and handle concerns effectively. Stay informed about Celero’s products and services by participating in job-related classes and webinars. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Requirements 2+ years in a similar role or technical support position within the merchant services industry. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in configurations and documentation. Adaptability to manage evolving client needs and technology updates. Able to navigate ambiguity, while exploring innovative solutions and driving business impact. Reports to: Deployment Manager Start date: Immediate Employment type: Full-time; Non-Exempt Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 Location: This is a U.S.-based remote position. However, due to current employment and business registration requirements, we are unable to consider applicants residing in Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Mexico, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, or Wyoming at this time.
