Role Overview

As a Senior Data Entry & Analytics Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the bridge between our customers and our data ecosystem. You will handle inbound and outbound communications, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality analytics solutions. This is a remote‑first role, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to arenaflex’s core mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend analytical solutions to address business challenges, leveraging large‑scale data analysis and automation techniques.
  • Develop and maintain business cases and proposals, clearly communicating project scope, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Analyze source system data to uncover relationships, trends, and quality issues; integrate cleaned data into existing production models.
  • Design logical data models, define primary and foreign keys, and establish storage strategies that align with arenaxflex’s data architecture standards.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to peers on best practices for data usage, ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives.
  • Deliver data solutions that are accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to end‑users, supporting both internal teams and external partners.
  • Partner with data engineers and platform leads to uphold data quality, lineage, and governance across the data lifecycle.
  • Prepare detailed effort estimates and delivery plans for initiatives, tracking progress from inception through completion.
  • Proactively communicate status, risks, and issues to leadership, ensuring transparency and timely mitigation.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to understand analytics needs, creating dashboards and reports that empower business decision‑making.
  • Establish and enforce best‑practice processes, driving continuous improvement and ensuring business requirements are met.
  • Rapidly learn and apply emerging technologies, contributing to arenaflex’s culture of innovation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience working with large, complex, and diverse datasets in enterprise‑scale data warehousing or data engineering environments.
  • Proven expertise designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with a focus on data quality; strong proficiency in Python or comparable programming languages.
  • Experience with data modeling tools such as arenaflex (formerly ERWIN) and arenaflex (formerly Visio).
  • 5+ years of experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including arenaflex (formerly Hadoop), arenaflex (formerly Google BigQuery), arenaflex (formerly DataPlex), arenaflex (formerly Flexionis Redshift), and Hive.
  • Hands‑on experience with reporting tools like arenaflex (formerly Looker) or similar visualization platforms.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow and Digdag for workflow automation.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and arenaflex (formerly GitLab).
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including arenaflex (formerly JIRA), Git, and agile workflow systems.
  • Experience working with cloud‑based technologies and big‑data platforms.
  • Strong grasp of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks using tools like arenaflex (formerly Collibra).

  • Background in retail, finance, product, or marketing analytics domains.
  • Exposure to statistical analysis, machine learning, or data‑science concepts.
  • Experience building logical data models for business units such as Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing.

  • Ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights and document both business and technical processes.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting root‑cause analysis on internal and external data to answer strategic business questions.
