Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce conglomerate, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Purchasing Specialist to join their Global Procurement team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing procurement processes for various goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. You will identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and manage supplier relationships to optimize value and mitigate risks. This role involves processing purchase requisitions, creating and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs, evaluating supplier performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records. You will also be involved in cost analysis, budget tracking, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, a strong understanding of supply chain and procurement best practices, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting. Familiarity with procurement software and systems is highly desirable. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management. Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management. Strong understanding of procurement best practices and market analysis. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines effectively in a remote work environment.
