[Remote] Chief Legal Officer

This role involves leading the company's global legal strategy, overseeing legal and regulatory matters, and advising the Board and senior leadership while supporting the company's growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing global legal function
- Advise the CEO, Board, and executive team on legal, regulatory, and strategic matters
- Oversee corporate governance, compliance, litigation, and regulatory affairs
- Support M&A, partnerships, and international expansion initiatives
- Ensure alignment with evolving global insurance regulations and standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a General Counsel within a large, complex, and preferably global organization
- Deep expertise in insurance or financial services strongly preferred
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at Board level
- Track record of leading large, international legal teams
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
