This role offers 100% remote flexibility as an Independent Contractor. Key Responsibilities ? Transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings with precision. ? Produce verbatim transcripts from audio recordings while adhering meticulously to style guides. Required Skills ? Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. ? Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines. ? Excellent literacy skills encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar. ? Ability to efficiently collaborate in a remote setting. ? Typing proficiency with a focus on both speed and accuracy. ? Capability to process sensitive or challenging audio/text content. ? Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. ? Must be able to successfully pass a background check. ? Court reporting students are encouraged to apply. ? Note: This position is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
